Here is 5 Bibles for children under 18 that are good for gifts.

  1. NKJV, Teen Study Bible, Hardcover NKJV, Teen Study Bible, Hardcover

The #1 selling Bible for teens, now available in the New King James Version. Full of study features that help today’s teen learn more about God, the Bible, and how God’s Word relates to their lives, the NKJV Teen Study Bible helps teens build a strong daily relationship with God. Excellent for homeschool use.

This is a sturdy hard cover bible. I love the explanations through out like the instant access and the to the point sections. For example in Ecclesiastes 2:1-11 the Instant Access is explaining that Solomon had so much money and power that he got everything that he wanted either by money or power. The explanation is that they haven’t grown up spiritually and it isn’t the things you have but the kind of person you are that matters.

I think this would make a great Bible for anyone, however I picture it more for our young men as the cover isn’t very girly. The Bible can be a bit overwhelming I think to figure out, especially for those who are just getting into it for the first time. I think that it has a lot of information in it for helping the reader to understand what God really wants out of us and to understand the Bible.
