Trying to find things that my son would like for Easter is getting harder as he is now a teenager. Teenage boys are so hard since he like video games instead of the little gifts that I would get him when he was younger. So I begin searching online to get him some things that he would be able to use more than once. I found on Dayspring a variety of different items that would fit for him. I choose three different items for him, one is a perpetual calendar with bible verses, another is a metal bookmark and the final is a travel mug.
The travel mug is black with a saying of my God, my Strength on a gold insert the letters are beige. It holds 16 ozs hot or cold. Perfect for those days that we are running around he can have his drink without using a plastic bottle.
The second thing was a metal open silhouette bookmark with the saying of Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Ephesians 6:10 KJV. Perfect for the books he reads at home or at school. No worries of it breaking or tearing after a couple uses.
The final item I will be adding to his Easter basket is a Jesus Calling perpetual calendar for 365 days in the year. This is a large perpetual calendar as each devotional has one, full-text Scripture verse available for reading, with additional Scripture references given for future reading and application. Each page is written as if Jesus Himself is speaking directly to the reader…words of hope, encouragement, comfort, and reassurance. Perfect for him to remember the day and then have a reference to be a better person in this world.
